Emu Soft Ware
EMU, which has been making garden furniture for 60 years, mainly in steel (but also in wood, synthetic wicker and aluminum), is now dedicating the same attention to quality to the world of fabrics and outdoor cushions, in collaboration with the Chiaromonte e Marin design studio, its main partner in this new project.
Just like with computers, where hardware is the physical medium for the creativity expressed by the software, in garden furniture Hard Ware (EMU’s solid furniture) now provides the support for the softness of the new Soft Ware collection: personalized fabrics, colors, patterns and weaves that add a further touch to the furniture, improving comfort and allowing a nearly endless combination of colors and personalized styles.
Emu Soft Ware products are made entirely in Italy, using the highest quality Italian materials: fabrics designed exclusively for EMU, made from mass-dyed acrylic, providing excellent resistance to sunlight and weather for unlimited outdoor use. The soft but tough cushion filling molds itself when being used but then immediately returns to its original shape. Concealed zippers with imitation leather trim that hides the slider.
Ten solid colors inspired by the natural colors of stone, from which they take their names. Ten exclusive patterns in jacquard double face fabrics (with geometric, floral or striped motifs), which lend a highly recognizable, distinctive new mark to the products. The personalized packaging allows an orderly display of the product at the store and in a take away package.
